Well boys and girls, the new job is much like different brands of wheat ale. The labels might be different. What's inside the bottle is essentially the same.
Plus I also found out that NOT ONLY did I not get along with my former supervisor, but he was ALSO witch hunting me to be fired for the past month and a half or so.
All this after I do nine houses in twelve days and was put in for employee of the month in a company of 200+. (I didn't win, apparently my best wasn't good enough)
I don't have to deal with HIM anymores, so that's good. I don't care, Fuck you, you unappreciative twat, I hope your next plumber has troubles reading a level and backgrades everything.
I ran into my old supervisor today, (the one I had previously for almost two years) and he pretty much confirmed my witch hunting theory, as well as telling me I should use him as my main reference for my five and a half years at the ONLY job I've ever had. I had been quite dejected at the prospect of facing the fire department application process with NO decent professional references
All in all, I'm entering the long weekend prettysmoothly.

I start my new job on Monday, doing the exact same work I do already, only with more independence than before.
And a 5.50$ an hour raise.
FUCK YOU OLD COMPANY.

Personality clashes with my supervisor has led to me being let go from the job I have held for 5 and a half years.
Cleaned out my van at 10:30, and I have an interview at another place at 2:00.

I'm thinking of setting up a daily Sudoko puzzle, with how long it took me to complete it.
So here's a tester, maybe you'll like it.
For fairness' sake, I complete it on a whiteboard, so it isn't just click and enter.
I finished this one in 5:47.

It started out with a trip down to my Step-brothers to pick up some new computer speakers he had grabbed for me. Futon mattress shopping was next, as the big fat black cat had urinated on my old one so much it had soaked right through eight inches of sweet comfy goodness. the place I stopped by supposedly had a really cheap deal going on where I could get either the mattress or the futon frame for 77 dollars, which was pretty much all I could afford right now. I soon found out that this deal applied only to a wafer thin single-sized lime green obscenity of a sleeping pad. My girlfriends mother is coming next week, and the futon in the second bedroom was supposed to be the place where she was going to crash, so I'm feeling rather dejected at the prospect of making a very cool lady crash on my pullout couch in the living room with no privacy whatsoever.
On a complete whim as I'm driving home, I decide I really don't have much else to lose and stop off at the local casino to amuse myself killing twenty dollars on video poker. I'm not much of a a gambler, seeing as I'm pretty good with numbers and am cognisant of the incredibly stacked odds not favoring myself in these homes of chance. After about 15 minutes I'm on the last legs of my twenty dollar bill when I draw four aces, paying out on my measly quarter bet at a nice 800 to 1 ratio. I head back to the mattress store to pick up something halfway decent. After some haggling, I managed to walk out with a 250 dollar floor model, plus navy coloring, for 140 even.
After a tasty meal of pick-up Swiss chalet, (bastards don't deliver in our area), it's time to tear down my website and look at photoblog replacements.
